In what's become a recurring role, Hayneedle was featured yet again on Wheel of Fortune, this time offering a $5,000 gift certificate on the wheel in December.

Hayneedle made Internet Retailer's Hot 100 list of best retail websites for 2009! They mentioned our sharp imagery, top navigation bar, and global shopping cart ... just a few of our favorite things as well.

PeoplePets - Friendly
PeoplePets.com, an online division of People Magazine, discuss pet travel and mention a couple of our pet sites, petcarriers.com and dogkennels.com. They give one of our kennels, the Pet Mate Extra-Large Vari Kennel Ultra, a glowing review, so check it out.

As Seen in the Wall Street Journal and on CNBC
In her About the House column, Gwendolyn Bounds talks about one of Hayneedle's most popular sites of late, compostbins.com. Bounds highlights cool new green products, all of which we're proud to carry, from the Worm Factory to the EZ Composter Hybrid. Because really, we could all use a little more green, couldn't we? She went on to appear on CNBC and discussed her findings about composting there as well, also mentioning our site.

Hayneedle enjoyed its 15 minutes of fame - and then some - as our site telescopes.com was on the wheel. You can watch the video!

Walk for the Animals
On Sept. 27, Hayneedle sponsored and took part in the Walk for the Animals event, which raised money for homeless animals. We love our pets and are committed to animals' safety and well being, as evidenced by our many successful pet sites like doghouses.com and petcarriers.com!

Omaha Green Homes Tour
Hayneedle provided several cool products displayed in area "green" homes. Compost bins, rocking chairs, doghouses ... we showed how easy it is being green ... and how fun it is to shop at compostbins.com.

Hayneedle Tent Sale
Our first-ever open-to-the-public tent sale was an outrageous success! September 12, throngs of customers and employees alike went nuts picking up bargains and having a blast. Our relationship with the community is one of warmth and mutual benefit, and we plan to have another tent sale in the future. Pickup trucks are encouraged!
